Le Cèdre
The Lebanese restaurant Le Cèdre is represented twice in Zurich. It feels like 1001 nights here. The food is fantastic and always fresh and filigree prepared. The best Tabbouleh salad is here and the selection of cold and warm mezze is rich. The delicacies are served on small plates together with flatbread.
My tip: I like to go to Le Cèdre for lunch because it's not so crowded and you don't have to make reservations. The mezze plate with meat skewer is highly recommended. Particularly fine are also the Rakakat Bil Jibni (golden yellow fried dough rolls filled with spicy goat cheese and herbs) and my latest discovery, Sojok in Datterini sauce
